Above are examples of rendering created by restoration artist Ruby Newman. She planned out the color palette of the 62 menagerie animals prior to beginning the actual restoration. This particular carrousel has a "Noah's Arch" theme with two of each animal. Each piece was uniquely treated to complement the original carving details.
