Originally this figure was created for the Page Street Mural which stood 9' tall and was one of four main figures painted by Newman. The image was revisited and recreated on 24' x 30" canvas. Two variations were done. They are both in private collections.( 2008 and 2010).
These images are created during live performances and capture the energy of the musicians. A series of listeners are often created as well during these events.
